There’s an active recall on a popular Costco deli item sold in 16 states, according to a recent company announcement sent to customers. This is due to two undeclared allergens in the product.
The recalled product is the Ancient Grain + Vegetable Salad marked with an item number #25247. Signs of anaphylaxis include hives, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and, in serious cases, trouble breathing, tightness in the throat, rapid heartbeat and cardiac arrest. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms after consuming or handling this salad, call 911 immediately.
