NEW YORK — Shake Shack, the popular fast-food chain known for its hamburgers, fries and milkshakes, is closing nine underperforming locations nationwide, including one in Ohio, reports say.Nation’s Restaurant News reports the chain made a filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission identifying the underperforming company-owned locations in California, Ohio, and Texas. Most SNAP recipients in Cuyahoga County will automatically receive benefits to replace perishable food lost during the recent power outage. The amount of replacement benefits will be a portion of each recipient’s monthly allotment, depending on when they were received. If benefits were received between July 30 and Aug. 6 (the day storms knocked out power for many Greater Clevelanders), the replacement benefits will equal 60% of the monthly allotment. CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio – An Evening with John Legend is rescheduled for September at Blossom Music Center.The concert is slated for 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22. AVON, Ohio — Cleveland Clinic is continuing its mission to help patients use food as medicine, and Second Harvest Food Bank in Lorain is helping make that mission possible. The collaborative effort started in April and has helped over 100 patients access food when leaving the hospital and beyond.One in seven people in Lorain County suffers from food insecurity, which has increased by 54% since the pandemic.
