CLEVELAND, Ohio – Police are still searching for a motive in a suspected murder-suicide in the drive-through of a Taco Bell in Stow.
The shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the fast-food restaurant on Graham Road and Hudson Drive.
Megan Keleman, 25, of Stow, suffered a gunshot wound the neck, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner. The medical examiner ruled her death a homicide.
Jason Williams, 53, of Cuyahoga Falls, then died by suicide, according to the medical examiner. He died of a gunshot wound to the head.
Officials said that both were in line at the drive-through when Williams got out of his car, walked up to Keleman’s car and opened fire. Williams then took his own life, police said.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is assisting Stow police with processing the crime scene, Ohio Attorney General spokesman Steve Irwin said.
The Taco Bell sits at a busy intersection near the Cuyahoga Falls border, just off state Route 8, and is surrounded by other fast-food restaurants and retail stores.
